Welcome to Castle Haven Cabins

Castle Haven Cabins is located one mile off Highway 61 on the Minnesota North Shore of Lake Superior in Castle Danger.

We are a small, family-owned resort that was started in 1933 by Mark & Edgar Lind. We offer 11 individual cabins with fireplaces, open year-round, and are right on the shoreline of Lake Superior. Our shoreline is rocky, but we have a nice pebble beach to enjoy.

Whether you’re looking to cozy up to the fire to read a book, hunt for agates, hike the Superior Hiking Trail, visit the many state parks or cross-country ski on our 2.5 miles of trails, we know you’ll enjoy your visit to the North Shore.
